Kenneth Taylor was an American and Eden Taylor, his wife, was adopted by her. Poarch explained that for the following 10 years, she spent a lot of time on the family farm and performing chores. She has two older adopted siblings and an elder brother Bryner. Her family moved to the United States in Texas when she was thirteen, with being able to leave her two older sisters, who remain in the Phillipines. Poarch was later stationed for many years in Japan during her time in the United States Navy. Bella said that her father had been abusive towards her, her brother, as well as herself.
